Postperson with Driving – Liphook

About the role

This permanent position is for a delivery postie with driving responsibilities based at the Liphook Delivery Office. You will work 37 hours per week across Monday‑Sunday, with an occasional Sunday shift at the Haslemere Delivery Office. The role involves delivering mail and parcels to the local community in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to households and businesses.
• Operate a Royal Mail vehicle safely and in line with regulations.
• Walk long distances and sort items for delivery routes.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers.
• Follow health, safety and delivery schedule requirements.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in work.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
