Powder Coater – Manufacturing (Full‑time)

About the role

The role involves preparing and powder coating a variety of metal components for a well‑established engineering and manufacturing business in Wiltshire. You will work within a production team to deliver high‑quality finishes while adhering to health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for coating, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation.
• Operate manual spray equipment and powder coating plant to apply finishes.
• Load and unload components onto the coating line and into curing ovens.
• Carry out quality inspections before and after coating, identifying defects and reworking where necessary.
• Maintain equipment, keep the work area tidy and ensure production targets are met.
• Handle materials safely and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Powder Coater in a metal manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high‑quality finishes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and capability to meet production deadlines.
