Power BI Analyst

About the role

The Power BI Analyst will join Birketts LLP’s IT team in Ipswich, supporting the firm’s legal and business services with data‑driven insights. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards that enable stakeholders across the firm to make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, publish and continuously improve Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.
• Transform raw data using Power Query and DAX to create robust data models.
• Analyse trends and provide actionable recommendations to various departments.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues to integrate data sources and ensure data quality.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise dashboard responsiveness.
• Adhere to reporting standards and maintain consistency across all visualisations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience developing Power BI solutions.
• Proven ability to design user‑friendly dashboards and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering clear insights from complex data sets.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
