Power BI / Fabric Reporting Manager

About the role
The company is an established North East housing association embarking on a data transformation journey. They are seeking a Power BI / Fabric Reporting Manager to lead the migration to a modern, cloud‑based analytics ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration from traditional reporting to Microsoft Fabric, establishing self‑service analytics foundations.
- Own semantic modelling and reporting standards within Fabric, ensuring scalability and future growth.
- Manage and mentor a team of Power BI specialists.
- Deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards and data products that provide trusted, accessible data for decision‑making.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering reporting solutions on modern data platforms such as Fabric and Synapse.
- Recognised expertise in Power BI data analysis and relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and Direct Lake.
- Previous experience managing reporting teams.
- Technical expertise in semantic modelling, DAX, SQL and Python.
