Power BI Specialist – Finance Reporting (Temporary)

About the role

An exciting interim opportunity for an experienced Power BI Specialist to join the Finance function of a growing organisation undergoing business transformation. You will partner with senior finance stakeholders to turn complex financial data into actionable insights and deliver reporting solutions that influence decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance Power BI dashboards and management reports.
• Develop robust data models using Power Query and DAX.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, insightful reporting solutions.
• Automate manual reporting processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources for accurate, timely reporting.
• Provide analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with senior finance stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Technically strong Power BI professional with experience in a finance environment.
• Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Quickly understands business challenges and develops practical reporting solutions.
• Proactive, consultative approach with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced setting.
