Power Platform Developer

About the role

FDM Group is seeking a Power Platform Developer for a public‑sector client. This is a six‑month contract with strong potential to extend, based on a hybrid model across several UK cities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Model‑Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate flows and Dataverse components.
• Create and support C# plugins, custom APIs, workflow activities and JavaScript/TypeScript web resources.
• Manage source‑controlled solutions and oversee the full application lifecycle, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, troubleshoot deployment issues and drive automation improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET development, including plugins and custom APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, Azure DevOps and ALM practices.
• Solid troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
