Power Platform Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Specialist to join our client on a three‑month contract, working three days on‑site in Warrington and two days remotely. The role focuses on shaping the Power Platform environment, ensuring strong governance, operational excellence, and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the Power Platform strategy, covering design and architecture across all environments.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks to guarantee best practices, compliance and scalability.
• Oversee platform operations, monitoring performance, capacity and usage.
• Manage security, access controls and data policies throughout the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure platform stability and adherence to organisational standards.
• Provide guidance to development teams on Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI best practices.
• Drive lifecycle management, including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Power Platform environment strategy and governance.
• Hands‑on expertise in platform administration and operations management.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and risk management within Power Platform.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
