Powered Access Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Powered Access Engineer to join a market‑leading manufacturer of elevated work platforms. Based at our yard in Lambourn, you will maintain and repair a range of powered access equipment and support customers during breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, repair and preventative maintenance on all powered access machinery.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out LOLER tests, inspections and Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) on equipment.
• Respond to breakdown calls on‑site and at customer locations as required.

Required profile

• Engineering qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience working with Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPs) or similar powered access equipment.
• CAP licence preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence.

• Electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Mechanical systems troubleshooting.
• Hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
• LOLER testing and compliance.
• Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) procedures.
