PPA Teacher – EYFS & KS1 (Full‑Time/Part‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate PPA Teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1, covering Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 during PPA time.
• Maintain positive classroom routines and high behaviour expectations.
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with SEND, EAL and varying abilities.
• Build strong relationships with pupils across multiple classes.
• Provide constructive feedback to class teachers on learning progress.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1.
• Confidence delivering phonics and early reading sessions.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, organised and able to quickly establish positive relationships.
• Commitment to ensuring every child reaches their potential.
