PPA Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rochester, Medway. The role involves teaching Nursery pupils in the mornings and delivering Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 lessons in the afternoons, providing teachers with valuable Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Nursery classes during the morning sessions.
• Deliver Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 lessons in the afternoons.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons to support pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning across year groups.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage and/or primary education.
• Confidence teaching across Nursery, KS1 and KS2.
• Flexible, organised and able to adapt to different classes and year groups.
• Strong collaborative mindset.
