About the role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Practice Accountant to join a long‑established independent accountancy firm in Horsham, West Sussex. The role offers a busy and varied workload, handling year‑end accounts, corporate tax returns, management accounts and personal tax for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end accounts for a range of clients
- Compile and submit corporate tax returns
- Produce management accounts and personal tax calculations
- Develop and manage your own client portfolio over time
- Support the team with day‑to‑day accounting tasks
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Extensive experience preparing accounts in a UK practice environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with varied clients
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented
- Resident within commuting distance of Horsham
