Practice Accountant – Bury (Full‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a Practice Accountant to join an established accountancy practice in the Bury area. The role offers a varied portfolio of clients and the chance to develop both technical and commercial skills within a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Handle business and personal tax compliance.
- Assist with VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts.
- Contribute to tax planning and practice development initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum of 4 years recent UK practice experience.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and ability to challenge constructively.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high standards.
