About the role
The Practice Development Advisor will join the Children’s Social Care Academy to support the learning and development of frontline staff. Working within a hybrid model, you will help newly qualified social workers, social work students, and experienced practitioners progress in their careers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver training and development sessions for newly qualified social workers on the ASYE programme.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to social work students and experienced social workers.
- Collaborate with the Academy & Quality Assurance Team Manager to design and update learning materials.
- Contribute to the evaluation of training impact and report findings to senior management.
- Maintain strong relationships with staff through regular presence in the office and virtual support.
Required profile
- Qualified and experienced social worker with a solid understanding of children’s social care.
- Excellent organisational, communication and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to foster a collaborative culture.
