Practice Improvement Lead

About the role

Turning Point is seeking a values‑driven Practice Improvement Lead to provide operational leadership across its Midpoint and The Stewarts services in Hertfordshire. This fixed‑term role (9 months) will guide service development, mobilisation and growth, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred support for the communities we serve.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery and service development for both Midpoint and The Stewarts services.
• Support the mobilisation of Midpoint and the successful launch of The Stewarts service.
• Develop, coach and empower managers and frontline staff.
• Embed best practice, continuous improvement and a values‑led culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and quality standards.
• Build effective partnerships with commissioners, healthcare professionals, local authorities, families and community organisations.
• Support workforce planning, service performance monitoring and operational sustainability.

Required profile

• Significant experience in health and social care service improvement.
• Proven leadership ability with a track record of driving cultural and performance change.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership building skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to person‑centred, high‑quality care aligned with organisational values.
