Pre-Construction Manager – Facade & Cladding

About the role

We are seeking a Pre‑Construction Manager with deep experience in façade and cladding remediation to lead our commercial estimating team. You will own the end‑to‑end bid process for fire remediation and recladding projects, driving growth and delivering value from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team and provide commercial leadership on façade remediation schemes.
• Manage the full bid lifecycle – from PQQ/Tender invitation through to contract award.
• Develop clear win strategies, craft compelling bid themes and ensure all commercial elements are captured.
• Prepare, review and present commercial pricing to senior management.
• Track and mitigate risks throughout the bid process.
• Control bid budgets and report performance against KPIs.
• Coordinate virtual bid teams and gather inputs from sales, finance, legal, project delivery and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely, compliant and commercially sound submissions.
• Organise and deliver client presentations as part of the bid submission.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the façade and cladding sector, especially fire remediation and recladding projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering profitable bids.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management – confident liaising at all levels and presenting to senior clients.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude with a focus on business growth.
