Premises Manager

About the role

Join a well‑established facilities management operation delivering a full range of services across a schools contract in Bristol. As a Premises Manager you will lead the Commercial Property Maintenance team, ensuring operational delivery meets contract obligations while maintaining high customer satisfaction and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Premises Assistants and oversee service delivery across multiple school sites.
• Ensure reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) activities are completed in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, including Health & Safety and COSHH legislation.
• Oversee contractor activity, site operations, stock, materials and budgets.
• Monitor team performance, produce operational and compliance reports, and uphold site standards.
• Support emergency planning, including adverse weather scenarios, and participate in the on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and a valid IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize a demanding workload and hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills across multiple stakeholder levels.

• Salary up to £30,806 per year.
• £75 weekly on‑call allowance plus overtime for call‑outs.
