Prep Technician – Vehicle Pre‑Delivery Inspection

About the role

We are looking for a Prep Technician to join our Vertu SEAT and Cupra Carlisle team. You will carry out pre‑delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards and provide a flawless first impression for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used cars.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and agreed time‑frames to maintain high productivity.
• Deliver quality workmanship and aim for first‑time fixes.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the inspection process.

Required profile

• Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own set of automotive tools (MOT licence preferred but not essential).

Required skills

• Pre‑delivery inspection (PDI) procedures.
• Automotive diagnostics and tool usage.
• Knowledge of MOT testing standards.
