Pre‑sales & Project Delivery Consultant

About the role

Turn IT On is seeking a customer‑focused Pre‑sales & Project Delivery Consultant to join its Projects team. The role blends technical pre‑sales expertise with hands‑on project delivery, supporting schools across England from discovery through implementation and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery sessions to capture customer requirements and project goals.
• Produce solution designs, technical documentation, cost estimates and implementation plans.
• Support project delivery, ensuring solutions meet scope, quality and timeline commitments.
• Act as the technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, resolving queries and providing guidance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Service Desk, Procurement and Sales teams to keep projects on track.
• Create and maintain clear technical artefacts such as diagrams, designs and handover documents.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and quality considerations.
• Assist with service transition activities and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience in a managed‑service, technical consultancy or project delivery environment.
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into secure, commercially viable solutions.
• Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder expectations.
