Pre‑Sales & Tender Manager

About the role

Our client, a global leader in in‑vitro diagnostics, is seeking a senior Pre‑Sales & Tender Manager to lead the UK & Ireland pre‑sales and tender function. The role sits at the intersection of clinical science and commercial strategy, driving how the business wins business across NHS and private laboratory networks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering pre‑sales, tender responses and product support across the UK and Ireland.
• Own the end‑to‑end tender lifecycle, from early engagement with laboratory networks and trusts through to final submission.
• Drive continuous improvement through post‑tender reviews and best‑practice sharing.
• Oversee product lifecycle activities including launches, enhancements and retirements.
• Collaborate with commercial, contracts, product, marketing and European partner teams to ensure proposals are competitive and compliant.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in biomedical sciences (FIBMS, MSc or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of haematology, coagulation and point‑of‑care diagnostics.
• Proven track record of leading high‑quality tender responses within UK and Irish public and private procurement frameworks.
• Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal teams, bid partners and suppliers.

• Salary £75,000 per year plus 25 % bonus and company car.
