Pre‑School Manager – Ingrave (Outdoor Learning)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Pre‑School Manager to lead our Ingrave setting, which blends outdoor learning, forest school experiences and child‑led development. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality early years education while fostering a nurturing, nature‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the pre‑school, ensuring compliance with EYFS standards.
• Maintain the highest standards of childcare, education and safeguarding.
• Manage, support and develop a team of Early Years practitioners.
• Design and oversee engaging learning activities that incorporate outdoor and forest school ethos.
• Promote nature‑based exploration, Montessori‑inspired approaches and creative arts.
• Build positive relationships with families and the local community.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading an early years setting or similar educational environment.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Passion for outdoor, forest‑school and nature‑based learning.
• Excellent communication and team‑leadership skills.
