Press Brake Operator

About the role

The Press Brake Operator will work on a CNC‑controlled press brake to turn CAD drawings and customer specifications into accurately formed metal components. This full‑time position is based at the North West Industrial Estate in the North East of England, supporting a fast‑moving production line.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret CAD drawings, specifications and customer information.
• Program CNC press brake machines and set up tooling according to the drawings.
• Operate the press, monitor the folding process and inspect finished parts against specifications.
• Remove burrs, reference parts clearly and record stock usage.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Pass finished components to the next production stage or store them safely.
• Maintain a tidy work area and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Support colleagues to maximise overall productivity.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed technical drawings and instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to health & safety standards.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented factory environment.
