Press Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking two Press Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing business in Tamworth. This full‑time, temp‑to‑perm position offers day shifts, overtime and a supportive team environment where you can develop your production and engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty presses up to 300 ton capacity and perform basic routine maintenance.
• Observe light‑guard safety procedures and uphold high health‑and‑safety standards.
• Quality‑check your output and record data in the SAP system.
• Package and palletise finished products at the end of the line.
• Escalate significant machinery issues to technical support.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience operating power or hand press machinery, or comparable machine sets.
• Demonstrated ability to work day shifts (07:00‑16:00 Mon‑Thu, 07:00‑12:00 Fri).
• Commitment to health‑and‑safety practices and quality assurance.
