Pressure Testing Technician – Water Pipelines

About the role

This full‑time, field‑based position involves testing, chlorinating and commissioning water pipelines for major infrastructure projects across the South of England. You will work on‑site with utility companies and civil engineering contractors, travelling regularly to customer locations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pressure testing on new and existing water pipelines and associated infrastructure.
• Perform chlorination and de‑chlorination of pipeline installations.
• Operate specialist monitoring and testing equipment.
• Produce technical reports and maintain accurate project records.
• Collaborate closely with utility companies, contractors and site teams.

Required profile

• Background in water utilities, plumbing, mechanical engineering or pipeline installation.
• Proven experience working on‑site within utilities or infrastructure environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout South England.
