Primary Class Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher to join a friendly, inclusive primary school in Cambridge for the full academic year starting September 2026. The role offers the chance to build lasting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues while delivering high-quality, creative lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and challenged.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting instruction to individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and senior staff to enhance learning experiences.
• Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers to support children’s development.
• Contribute to wider school activities and uphold the school’s high standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2) or an Early Career Teacher ready to start.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; focus is on pedagogical expertise.
