About the role
Join a high‑achieving primary school in North Leeds where academic inquiry, creativity and independent thinking are celebrated. You will lead a vibrant classroom, delivering a rigorous curriculum and supporting each pupil’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver an engaging, data‑driven curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Use formative assessments to personalise learning pathways.
- Maintain a well‑organized, high‑trust classroom environment.
- Collaborate with year‑group partners on cross‑curricular projects.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing detailed progress updates.
- Participate in whole‑school initiatives, subject leadership and CPD activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong primary references.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and a record of raising attainment.
- Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) registered on the Update Service.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
- Willingness to contribute to school sports, arts or extracurricular clubs.
