Primary Class Teacher – Tower Hamlets

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher for a Year 6 class in Tower Hamlets, starting September 2026. This is a full‑time permanent position within a community‑focused primary school that prides itself on strong pupil achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for end‑of‑year assessments in a balanced, supportive manner.
• Track student progress and implement targeted interventions where needed.
• Foster independence, resilience and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Upper KS2 expectations.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• High expectations for attainment and behaviour.
• Organised, reflective and committed to continuous improvement.
• Previous Year 6 experience is desirable but not essential.
