About the role
A vibrant, high‑achieving primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a Primary Class Teacher to lead a Year 1 class from September. The school offers a creative, well‑supported environment with strong early‑literacy focus and excellent behaviour routines.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑differentiated KS1 lessons, including a structured phonics programme.
- Manage a friendly Year 1 classroom with support from an experienced teaching assistant.
- Collaborate effectively within a large year‑group team and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring high standards for all learners.
Required profile
- Secure knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics.
- Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Strong classroom management and energy.
- Commitment to excellent progress for every pupil.
