Primary Early Career Teacher – Year 3/4 (Part‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Preston. The successful candidate will be placed in either Year 3 or Year 4, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils’ development from September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for Year 3 or Year 4.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and targeted support.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and safeguarding duties.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending PGCE completion.
• Passion for primary education and a commitment to fostering a supportive classroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo DBS and reference checks.

Required skills

• Effective lesson planning and delivery.
• Classroom management techniques.
• Ability to use basic educational technology for teaching.
