Primary Early Career Teacher (Year 5/4/2/Reception)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to join primary schools in Preston, Leyland and Chorley from September 2026. Positions are available for Year 5, Year 4, Year 2 and Reception classes, offering a supportive environment for new teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for the assigned year group.
• Work closely with the senior leadership team and participate in the ECT mentor scheme.
• Take part in lesson observations and interview processes as part of school induction.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and uphold the school’s Ofsted standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion of a PGCE.
• Passion for primary education and a commitment to fostering a supportive classroom.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
