About the role
Spencer Clarke Group is partnering with several primary schools in Blackburn to recruit enthusiastic KS2 teachers for the September start. The role is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent, offering full‑time or part‑time placements depending on school needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and safeguarding duties.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks and reference verification.
- Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
Required skills
- Excellent classroom management.
- Strong communication with pupils, parents and staff.
- Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs.
