Primary PPA Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Primary PPA Teacher to provide cover across the full primary age range in a welcoming school in Hornchurch. The role is full‑time and offers immediate or September 2026 start dates on an ongoing contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver PPA cover for Early Years to Year 6, allowing class teachers time for planning and assessment.
• Follow lesson plans supplied by class teachers while adapting activities to meet individual class needs.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment.
• Maintain classroom behaviour and management standards throughout the school day.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher with experience across the primary phase.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and confidence in classroom management.
• Flexible, adaptable, proactive, enthusiastic and well‑organised.
