About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Primary PPA Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Merton (SW19). The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and runs from September 2026 to July 2027, covering EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes across the school.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils as a PPA class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and support pupils’ learning needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other teachers to maintain high teaching standards.
- Participate in school‑wide training and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- At least one year of Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
