Primary School Early Career Teacher – Flexible Roles in Liverpool

About the role

Randstad Education is partnering with primary schools across Liverpool to place newly qualified teachers in flexible or long‑term positions. This role enables you to deliver engaging lessons from EYFS through KS2 while completing your Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for pupils aged 4‑11.
• Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with senior staff and support pupils’ academic progress.
• Participate in school‑wide activities and parent communication.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification.
• Enthusiastic, energetic classroom presence.
• Strong desire to inspire young learners.
• Flexibility to work in different primary settings.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
