Primary School Intervention Teacher

About the role

We are partnering with a large Primary Trust in Maidstone and Medway to deliver high‑impact, targeted interventions for pupils in Maths and Literacy. The role is ideal for teachers who enjoy focused, small‑group teaching without the responsibility of a full class.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver 1:1 and small‑group intervention sessions for KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Assess individual learning gaps and design tailored activities to raise attainment.
• Collaborate with school staff across multiple sites within the Trust.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher with experience delivering interventions.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum, especially Maths and Literacy.
• Proactive, flexible approach to supporting several schools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of KS1 & KS2 maths and literacy content.
• Experience assessing and closing learning gaps.
