About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a full‑time Primary School Teacher for a popular mainstream primary school in Newham. The role starts in September and runs for two academic terms, ending in July 2027.

Key responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes.
Mark assessments, record progress and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
Organise and attend parent evenings and staff meetings.
Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Minimum one year of teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the UK.
Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
Two professional references covering the last two years.

Daily rate between £170 and £250.
Accredited CPD courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
In‑house training and development support.
Potential to extend the contract or move to a permanent position based on performance.
