About the role
We are seeking a passionate Primary School Teacher to join a community primary school in Charlton, London, starting in September 2026. The school serves children aged 3‑11 and is recognised for its inclusive, nurturing environment and strong focus on pupil wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for KS1 and KS2.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where all pupils can succeed.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring strong outcomes.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching KS1/KS2 or in a similar primary role.
- Strong subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to the position.
- Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
- Right to work in the UK.
