About the role

Teaching Personnel is partnering with well‑resourced primary schools in the St Albans/Hemel Hempstead area to find enthusiastic KS1 teachers. This temporary position offers immediate start dates and the chance to work in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons across the curriculum.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages confidence and motivation.
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with fellow staff members to share ideas and best practices.
• Celebrate student achievements, both big and small.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Passion for teaching KS1 pupils.
• High expectations combined with a nurturing approach.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Team‑player mindset, eager to collaborate.
