About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants to join vibrant schools in Plymouth. You will work closely with classroom teachers to support the delivery of engaging lessons and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment for pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and preparing learning resources.
- Work one‑to‑one or in small groups to boost pupils' confidence and progress.
- Help maintain classroom discipline and manage day‑to‑day activities.
- Contribute to a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with children (schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching) is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to obtain a valid Enhanced DBS check.
Required skills
What we offer
- Full‑time and part‑time contracts.
- Competitive daily rate of £92.56‑£95.
- Monday‑Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (term time).
