About the role

We are seeking a passionate Primary SEN Teacher to join a Good‑rated primary school in Lambeth. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, school‑based, offering a day rate of £195‑£260.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach a small ARP class of six non‑verbal/ASD pupils.
  • Lead and support an experienced HLTA.
  • Prepare and deliver EHCP applications, including assessments.
  • Provide SEN support and leadership within the primary setting, with a view to extending support to the nursery.
  • Maintain high‑quality data and administrative records.

Required profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, particularly autism spectrum disorders.
  • Ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven capability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for SEN pupils.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
