About the role

Join a welcoming Primary SEN school in Southwark where you will support children with complex learning needs. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will help create a nurturing and structured environment that enables every pupil to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering personalised lessons for pupils with autism, communication challenges, and sensory or emotional needs.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support during classroom activities and therapeutic sessions.
• Help prepare and organise learning materials and resources tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and report observations to senior staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and social interaction within the classroom.

Required profile

• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Empathetic, patient and adaptable.
• Willing to commute to Southwark or live locally.
• Motivated to develop a career in SEN education.
