Primary SEN Teaching Assistant – Warrington

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary schools in Warrington from September. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have additional learning needs, helping them achieve academic and social progress.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEND.
- Assist children with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other special educational needs.
- Adapt learning activities to suit individual requirements.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and parents to monitor and support pupil progress.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- A calm, patient and proactive approach.
- Genuine passion for inclusive education.
