About the role

A welcoming primary school in Hertfordshire is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils with special educational needs, helping them engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to SEND pupils.
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning and behaviour strategies.
Maintain effective classroom routines and a structured environment.
Promote an inclusive, positive atmosphere where all children can thrive.

Required profile

Experience working with pupils who have SEND or additional needs.
Genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to build positive relationships and respond to individual pupil needs.
