Primary Sports Coach – Part‑Time (Wed & Fri) – Birmingham

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Primary Sports Coach to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham on a part‑time, term‑time basis. The role starts in September 2026 and involves delivering high‑quality PE lessons on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons for primary‑aged pupils.
• Promote teamwork, resilience, confidence and sportsmanship.
• Adapt activities so all pupils can participate and succeed.
• Create a safe, fun and positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support the school’s PE curriculum.
• Encourage healthy and active lifestyles among pupils.

Required profile

• Experience coaching or teaching sport to primary‑aged children.
• Relevant sports coaching or physical‑education qualification (desirable).
• Strong behaviour‑management and communication skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic and motivating attitude.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
