Primary Supply Teacher – Daily Cover in Southwark

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide daily cover across a variety of primary schools in Southwark. This flexible role lets you choose when and where you work, offering the chance to experience different classroom environments while maintaining control over your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Step confidently into new classrooms and uphold high learning standards.
• Create a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow and adapt school‑provided lesson plans as needed.
• Manage behaviour effectively and encourage pupil participation.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation abilities.
• Proactive, adaptable and dependable approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to settle quickly into new schools.
