Primary Supply Teacher – EYFS, KS1 & KS2 (Hornchurch)

About the role

We are seeking qualified Primary Supply Teachers to provide cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes in Hornchurch primary schools. The role offers flexible, part‑time assignments from September 2026, allowing you to choose the days that suit your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide day‑to‑day supply cover, short‑term assignments, block bookings or longer‑term placements.
• Ensure pupils continue to make progress in the absence of their regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for primary education.
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
• Professional, flexible attitude with a genuine passion for teaching.
• Ability to work across different year groups and school settings.

Required skills

• Effective lesson delivery and pupil engagement.
• Clear communication with pupils and staff.
• Adaptability to varied school environments.
