Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible Roles in Hailsham

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide cover across schools in Hailsham and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible day‑to‑day assignments, ranging from single‑day placements to longer‑term cover, allowing you to balance teaching with personal commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the national curriculum to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans in line with school policies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and progress.
- Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience working within a primary school setting.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality education and supporting student achievement.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Effective classroom management techniques.
- Ability to adapt lessons quickly to meet varying student needs.
