About the role

We are seeking a passionate Primary Supply Teacher to join schools in Portsmouth on a flexible basis. You will step into classrooms across a range of year groups, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils’ progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality primary education to students in various year groups.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain order.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and curricula as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in primary schools.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Willingness to obtain or hold a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
