About the role
Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide cover for schools in Hastings, Rye and surrounding areas. This flexible role allows you to work as little as one day a week or up to five days, matching your availability and career goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the primary curriculum to pupils across key subjects.
- Provide day‑to‑day classroom cover and support long‑term vacancies.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to enhance student achievement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working within a school setting.
- Genuine desire to be part of a dedicated school staff team.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson planning and delivery.
