Primary Supply Teacher – Schools in East Sussex & Brighton

About the role

Engage Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to support schools across East Sussex and Brighton. You will work on a day‑to‑day basis, covering both planned and unplanned teacher absences, often at short notice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging primary lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school policies and procedures.
• Provide reliable coverage for short‑term and long‑term teacher vacancies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Flexibility to work at short notice across multiple schools.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to deliver high‑quality lessons.
• Strong behaviour management capabilities.
• Ability to follow and implement each school’s policies.
