Primary Supply Teacher (SEMH) – Cambridgeshire

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Primary Supply Teacher with experience in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role is based in a specialist primary setting in Cambridgeshire from September to December, with the possibility of extension. You will work full‑time, joining a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils, with a focus on SEMH support.
- Maintain small class sizes and provide personalised attention to each student.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and fellow staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches quickly to respond to changing classroom dynamics.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in a primary setting.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑moving school environment.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents quickly.
